Promontory Tower Demolition

The following video is of the demolition of the Promontory Tower, located in Ogden, Utah. This video features three different methods.

  1. We began demolition with a BROCK robotic excavator suspended from a crane. A BROCK is a robotic radio-controlled excavator that allows the operator to remain in a safe distance operating.
  2. We then followed with a floor-by-floor demo, where we removed the top three floors so we could safely reach the remaining building.
  3. We completed this building’s demolition with our 100 foot high reach demolition excavator.
